Halloween Music Free

Halloween weekend has officially started. In fact, I'm currently decked out in my Ke$ha costume as I type this (man, this wig itches) and I'm jamming to some free Halloween music on my computer.

He did the mash, he did the Monster Mash!

There are so many sources for free music nowadays, I don't even know why people bother paying for it anymore. Whether you want to creep out your co-workers with eerie music or have the ultimate Halloween playlist at your costume party tonight, check out these websites that offer your favorite scary tunes for free:

All-About-Halloween: This site breaks music down into categories: movies and television themes without words (such as Exorcist), music and television themes with words (who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters!), and Halloween-themed songs such as "Thriller."

Rhapsody: Drew's Famous Halloween Party Music and Halloween Fright Night are two really great playlists that you can listen to for free. Unfortunately, your limited to 25 songs before you have to sign up for a subscription, so choose wisely!

The Halloween Spot: This is a good source for spooky music and sound effects. \

Countess Blood: This site has two pages filled with spooky midis and wavs from a Hocus Pocus spell clip to haunted house sound effects to kids singing the Freddy song (gah, that one gets me every time!).

Happy haunting!
