CBS says that the attendance is pegged at around 215,000 - although the Restoring Honor rally held in August was claimed to have about 87,000 participants.

The Rally To Restore Sanity/March to Keep Fear Alive were created by Comedy central TV show hosts Stephen Colbert an Jon Stewart. The two have become unlikely political figures over the past couple of years in the midst of various scandals and high profile news events.
