Texas A M Gunman, A false alarm of a cowboy from Texas A & M campus led to a crash today. One of Texas A & M gunman false alert was sent shortly after 16:00, while the Bush family had only two miles away. The cause of the alert was a bus driver on campus.
The driver of the campus police called right of information of a person walking down the street with a gun. A & M emergency notification system quickly went into action, putting the entire campus in lcokdown. It would take almost two hours until the school found out it was all a false alarm. “University officials believe that the basis for the report was a person who had in his possession a ‘dummy’ rifle – a replica,” said a statement & AM News Tonight. The person identified was near the Tower of the rudder with the fake gun, but simply got in his car and drove home.
Students were later warned to “Clear All. Person identified replica gun. There is no danger. Resume their normal activities.”
In September, Colton Tooley, 19, started at random, without reason that the shooting on the campus of UT near the intersection of 21st and Speedway. A police chase that began in Tooley went to the library PCL. Tooley finally committed suicide on the sixth floor. Tooley used an AK-47 assault rifle. No UT student injured during the September incident.
