Katy Perry Wedding

Less than a year after getting engaged in Jaipur, India, Katy Perry and Russell Brand returned to the country to tie the knot.

And despite numerous reports that Perry opted for traditional Indian garb for the occasion, that is not the case.

While pictures of Perry in her wedding dress have yet to be released, StyleList has confirmed that the bride wore Elie Saab Haute Couture. The gown was dove gray and featured lace sleeves, a source revealed to Us Weekly.

Could it be the Fall 2010 runway look below?, as speculated by The Cut.

The 25-year-old singer (who turns 26 on Oct. 25) and her 35-year-old beau married on the night of Oct. 23 in front of approximately 80 guests at the Aman-i-Khas wildlife reserve and resort in Rajasthan, reports Us.

(The couple became engaged in the same area last New Year's Eve after dating for just four months.)

Perry and Brand incorporated several traditional Indian wedding elements into their ceremony, including a procession of decked-out elephants, horses, and camels, according to The Telegraph.

The two also reportedly got henna tattoos on their hands and, earlier in the week, Perry was seen sporting what looked to be a nath -- a bridal nose ring and chain that's supposed to be taken off by the groom on the wedding night.

At closer inspection, however, the nose ring may have actually been a pair of sunglasses with an attached gold chain that made it appear as though the pop star had pierced her nose for the big day..

After the nuptials, the six-day celebration continued with P. Diddy scheduled to perform at an "East meets West" reception, in which classical Indian dancers also take the stage, along with famed Indian choreographer Sandip Soparrkar and his wife Jesse Randhawa, reports The Press Trust of India.
