Nicki Minaj Right Thru Me Official Video: She may not have been around for years, but rapper, singer and songwriter Nicki Minaj appears to have made quite an impression with her fans. Speaking of her fans, they have been treated to not one but two music video debuts this week – “Check it Out” on Tuesday, and “Right Thru Me” on Wednesday.
At the very start of the “Right Thru Me” video, Nicki can be seen arguing with a guy who appears to be her boyfriend. According to Hillary Crosley over at mtv.com, the couple seems to be arguing about whether or not he’s been disrespecting her. When the guy says he’s leaving, Nicki apologizes.
This is where the song kicks in, and the video starts to bounce between clips of the couple just talking lovingly and Minaj trying to stop him from leaving. “You make me laugh/ You make me hoarse from yelling at you and getting at you,” she sings before adding: “Why are you speaking when no one asked you?”
When Nicki sings the chorus of the “Right Thru Me” song, she can be seen behind a full length window and covered in steam. This video gives her fans the chance to see Nicki Minaj in just casual wear, instead of the costumes and the different colored hair. You can watch the video below.
